Can anyone recommend a good book that tells you a lot about all the different species of course fish? Photos, facts, information etc.

Thanks

These books are all a few years old. The had wide circulation, and can be bought at Ebay, Amazon or your local secondhand bookstore. They give loads of good information, step-by-stem guidance, and I highly recommed them all. I don't think you can find better books of a newer date. All books are well illustrated, Miles' and Wilson's books in particular.

Tony Miles: Coarse fishing — A step-by-step guide

Allan Haines & Mac Campbell: The New Angling Times Book of Coarse fishing

John Wilson: John Wilson's Coarse Fishing Method Manual

Enjoy the read! And don't forget to go fishing!

Got to recommend, Modern Specimen Hunting by Jim Gibbinson, and of course Mr Crabtree Goes Fishing, by Bernard Venables, the bible of angling.

The Observer's Book of Coarse Fishing by Peter Wheat. Covers the basics very well, easily obtained second hand.

Good luck with it.

Depends on what you are looking for. I believe the Tony Miles book will be better for a lot of people. Very step-by-step and matter of fact.
