I’m looking for a good fast sinking line for when I’m float fishing for tench what I want is 6lb and 8lb of either mono or fluorocarbon.

I have been using Guru Pulse Line which was ok for the first few mouths then it lost it sinking ability and started to float even after using washing up liquid on it to de grease it

Any tried and tested recommendations please
Thanks

I'd go with 6lb Maxima, too. Pretty rugged stuff. If these tench need 8lb line on the float, Chesterfield's not too far away, so please pm me the details of the water and I'll come and help you assess it :wh
