Hi, I'm looking for help to ID this river fish please...

Think I'm a but rusty after not fishing since I was a kid!

As above a roach. Could I politely suggest that things move on since you were a kid we tend not to put fish on twigs and debris and dry ground nowadays. Shame to damage scales and slime.

Anyway its a nice fish. I hope you have many more.
