Rod ready style holdall

I looking for rod ready style bag, looking for one that has bank stick, landing handle net pocket attached. Wanting it for my 13' and 14' rods. Keeping my trotting gear together enabling to pick it complete.

Some may say stick them inside with the rod, but I don't want them against my rod and pin

Does any one make one ??

I think drennan do one amongst their specialist luggage.
Personally I deffo wouldn't keep match rods in any made up holdall, your asking for breakages!

Hi Dalesman.

I have one of the new Drennan double sleeves as mentioned above. It is slim and light and has the requisite outside pockets.
The reel pouch will just fit two 6010 baitrunners.
I use it to transport a made up 12 foot barbel rod and my unmade float rods 14ft plus.

When empty folds up small enough to stow in my original super specialist rucksack.

I don't keep any rods made up. However, I do use the Drennan Specialist Double and Single Sleeves. You can get the (three piece) 17' Acolyte in the double. Two shorter rods aren't an issue, but it is a good idea to have a landing net strapped on the side to give the top a bit of structure and support.

I always use ready rod holdalls, the ones I use are MAP hard case rod bags. They all incorporate a full length pocket and a short one outside.
Can't remember the cost but they're cheap enough or I wouldn't have them. If I could make up rods on the bank I wouldn't need them.
Of course if you are clumsy putting rods away or getting them out you risk breakages, whilst in the bag you can't get safer.

You could get one of the many variations of quivers and just put your plastic rod tubes in that. That way your rods are safe in their cloth bags inside your hard tubes. I have the drennan super specialist quiver (the previous nmodel to the one they produce now, although they're pretty much the same) and I have the korum two and three rod quivers. The drennan quiver wil hold several rods in tube but the korum quivers I have only hold two slim tubes. They both have plenty pocket to hold bancksticks etc.
The drennan superspecialist single rod made sleeves actualy fit onto the quivers and give more protection than the double bags. You can get the single sleeves in a shorter length also.

I have 2 Preston 2+2 ready made up holdalls. A 160cm of lake rods and a 180cm for river rods.

The 180 takes 3 piece 15' rods and a 2 piece 12' barbel rod. The outer pocket takes landing net pole, bank-sticks and an Octoplus rod rest.

I have no problem assembling 3 piece made up rods.

I have 2 preston 1+1 ready rod holdalls, they are useless, my mate bought a 2+2 just to carry a couple of made up rods, a lot better than the 1+1. I have the 180cm versions for 10' and 11' made up rods, you have to get the bail arm and reel handle position just right for the zip to close properly. There are no outer or inner pockets for banksticks, net handles or brolly. the reason I have 2 is that my mate gave me his when he bought the 2+2. I use them with rods unmade and reels in carryall when going feeder and waggler fishing,can take 3 piece 13' rods that way as well.

Solved my problem........Rod tube with rod inside and landing net handle and bank stick secured via a couple rod bands
