What hooks shouldn't I use for bream?

As I have seriously asked the question on what hooks to use,I've realised this may recieve a more realistic answer....

I don't recommend fine wire barbed hooks.
Very difficult to extract sometimes, especially if they get distorted..
As I said before, IMO,16 Drennan red maggot hook barbless for float fishing and for feeder Guru QM1 barbless size to suit bait used.

I couldn't disagree with PC's choices of hooks and by and large they are all i use.

It all depends on what size you call a bream? For skimmers up to a 1lb you can use fine wire hooks. Up to 5lb a medium gauge hook and above 5lb a heavy weight specimen type hook.

Bream from 2-8lbs,so fine wire hooks are no good as far as I see it...
