After the blistering heat this week I was looking forward to getting out today,so with the forecast being wet,two waters in my two clubs list stuck out, looked in the books, one water has a twenty four hour match,so is closed for two days, the other has an evening match, which equates to the water being closed from 1pm,normally one or the other would be free,I have plenty of waters available, but imo you have to fancy it,especially with a wet forecast, not sure I can be asked...I thought about Bedford(free fishing)but the area relatively free of weed isn't good for pegging a brolly down,so that's iffy too.

I know what you mean but my problem sometimes midweek when I want a couple of days carping on my lake and s0ds law says there is a midweek evening match. Club rules forbid it.

Have that too,it's today that made it difficult for me,the two waters that were ok in the rain matched,I don't mind one,at least an option is there, even if it wasn't your first choice...
