Made the mistake of going onto ebay to look for some old lures I lost last year. Never found what I wanted but did come away after biding for a lure rod, reel and more lures. Hopefully I wont win them I am running out of room to store them.

Just checked the final price they went for above normal retail price. A very good deal for the seller.

I'm amazed at the silly prices people pay for stuff. A rare rod or reel is worth whatever you are prepared to pay but ordinary tackle still available is not worth anywhere close to full price for a brand new one.

Amazes me too, why would you not just buy new. I've never sold any tackle I've bought, I certainly haven't bought a second hand rod or reel. Mind you when I finish with a rod it's very near unusable.
I'm not saying second hand aren't worth the money, some very good bargains are there to be had.
I just prefer new.

Does anyone know how to cancel an eBay bid?

I bid £3 for a cowboy outfit yesterday and I’m 6 minutes away from owning Everton!
