These are only budget rods but have had good reviews. I’m thinking of getting one for a bit of waggler fishing on my club lake and 12ft will be the ideal length for me to use on there.

Anyone else got one or had experience of one?

I think they’re quite through actioned which will help if a lump comes along and should allow the resident F1s to give a good account of themselves.

Going back to some “proper” float fishing as it’s less of a faff than pole fishing and a lot easier on the old back!

Ive got a 10 foot version of this as well as an 11 foot Maver feeder....

I really dont think a more expensive rod will catch me bigger fish.....

Good quality for the money is my opinion.

Thanks Hertsbloke. I’d thought of the 11ft 2pce as I like 11ft rods and leaving them tackled up in a sleeve is a good option. However I think that 3 piece is more of a “traditional” float rod and that a lot of shorter 2 piece rods are more for pellet waggler applications.

Forget the Maver, got a secondhand Harrison GTi 12ft, 3 piece with spliced tip and it’s beautiful!
