Another way is to have small pieces of blue tack on a board, small panel in end for hook to go round, stotz/shot on blu tack in desired place, this holds it steady when put line in slot, if do it right you can do all stotz in one go, use either a stotta or style pliers or if preferred, shot pliers to affix stotz/shot. Doing it this way ensures all the slots are in same line for better presentation.
