I'm thinking of upgrading my current rods and the Harrison TripTych is one option I'm considering. Has any used one, what did you think ? Suitable for Trent barbelling ?
Harrison make some lovely rods, i have at least 10 of them!.....never tried the TripTych though, but if it is like the others in the 2tc range then it should be fine for Trent barbel......not that i'm a Trent Barbeller but it can't be that different than the lower Severn!.
My own Harrison big river barb rods are 21/4 but it's the action i like, the true TC is probably nearer 13/4, Harrisons tend to be "softer" in the action than some manufacturers.
