Hi, folks, I would really like to get onto the River Arrow in Warks. . Anybody know a contact name or number....getting well bored with commercial ponds!!

A great little river but very low and not fishing well at the moment comes into its own from autumn. There are many clubs on the river with open membership but very little day ticket water. Contact Alan Stephens at Alcester Sports and Tackle,01789 762200 he should be able to help you with some contacts.
Thanks, Terry, take it thats the tackle shop in Alcester itself, will give it a go. For info, had great fun on the Arrow 20yrs ago teaching my son to fish, so really looking forward to giving it another go!!

There is a nice little day ticket stretch at The Fish Inn at Wixford about 2 miles downstream of Alcester.
Most of the Arrow is owned by clubs but they are all open to new members.
The Alcester Trades And Labour Club have a brilliant piece from above the bypass down to the weir.
Big bream in the summer and super roach in the winter.
