A mate of mine is selling a series 2 model of the above reel.anyone used one and what are they like.looks well made,its like brand new he cant get on with it.only used the once.

I've not heard anything bad about them, though if I was buying one new, there are other reels in that price bracket. Secondhand though, possibly a good buy!
Nice reels Keith. The series 2 made by K&W Engineering of Poole, Dorset. Better spec than the series 1 I believe.
Very similar to the Dave Swallow reel.
Should be perfect for the Wally Cast.
I remember reading a review of one in IYCF a few years ago and it got a good review then. I think the only criticism if I remember was that groundbait and grit could get at the workings in the back. But then so it can on all the expensive 12 spoke aerials, so nothing to worry about!
