hello all, haven?t been around for ages i?ve actually been doing some work at work!
anyhow i haven been fishing for ages either but this weekend i am definatly going. the thing is i?m totally confused were to go and what to fish for, what do you lot reckon my best bet would be for this time of year. any ideas much appreciated cheers.

Get some maggots or worms go the canal or river and fish for bites!

don't go carp fishing or tenching.
try the rivers

if the river looks bad get on the canal.they are well stocked these days .as eddie says take some maggots.
