What is your New Year's Resolutions?

I have a few to do this year.

1)Is to go out more fishing than last year.

2)Also to catch more different species of fish anywhere in the UK.

3)Go Catfishing in France/Spain.

4)To catch more Pike.

5)To catch a bigger Barbel in the River Severn At Bewdley.

What are your resolution for the comming year?

1. To stop, once and for all, taking the piss out of Scousers.

2. To get out fishing more.

3. To visit Liverpool to find out what it really is like.

4. To catch a sea trout on the fly.

Ron I used to live in Liverpool when I was a nipper!

Unfortunately I don't have an Scousers accent

It's not a bad place as you think it is.

I made one a few years ago and that was to never make a new years resolution again. It's the only one I've ever stuck to )

I'm giving up the fags on Jan 5th. So a little bit later than a new Year resolution. The thing that worries me most is what I'm going to do instead to focus on the next chub swim. Any suggestions from ex smoking rovers gratefully accepted.

Have lot of will power mate. I know, I used to smoke load back in the old days, that was 10 years ago.

good luck Bill, not the easiest thing to do, but very possible, it will change your life mate, not having to go fishing with a packet of fags and a lighter, its not easy to start with but it definately gets easier, been stopped for well over 12 month now, prior to that I stopped for 15 years. If you want to stop badly enough, you`ll stop mate!

To Beat the NHS and have the Back operation I have been waiting for, for 2 years.
Then I will be able to catch some Real fish, might even travel north and see what you lot are on about ?

Thanks for the advice guys, mind you it was almost forced on me trying to roll one whilst fishing in the hail storms and torrential downpours yesterday.

I have popped the link in below for Ron in case he fancies toasting his fly caught Sea Trout with a drop of calvados.

Good luck with getting the op Bob
