Dextrose+Gluten

Has anyone used either of these two ingredients, with any success? I wasn't sure wether to use the Gluten added direct to maggots/worm/caster or within a paste/boilie mix. And the same with the Dextrose. Any suggestions or advice would be more than welcome.

You'd probably be better asking this on the carp section, from the guys who make their own boillies.

Gluten is a binder and dextrose a sweetener.
I’ve never heard of gluten being used on maggots/casters, worms, but dextrose I suppose could be if you wanted to sweeten your maggots up.
