After a long float rod ideal 13-15foot for catching live baits and for perch fishing on the river.

I would look for a second hand Drennan Floatmaster. They have a dolly butt and two first sections of differing lengths allowing it to be fished at 13 & 15ft. Its my go to float rod and I prefer it to the acolyte.

Do you really want a 13/15' rod (a 13' rod with an extension to 15') or a single rod of 13, 14 or 15'?

If it's the former, add a Greys Prodigy 13/15' Float to Ray's suggestion. If it's the latter, there are any number of viable options, especially for someone that's unlikely to be after something particularly special in any way.

I've a Sheaksphere 15' Match rod you can have for very little money if you're serious? The guys on the forum speak well of them. I simply updated when the Acolyte range came out? 3 piece collection only. £50 for cash almost as new. Richard.
