Hi Chaps,

I know nothing about this venue except that it is famous for tench. Are there any articles on the net that might give me a flavour of the place?

I'm not looking for best swim/ baits info (that'd be rude and cheatin!), just a bit of background so I know a little about what to expect?

I like fishing the lift, is that possible? How feasible is maggot feeder fishing (heli style)?

Caught my first tench of the year on my first session today! About 4lb 6oz... nice!

Cakey, regarding the auction I've planned a rafffel for the day so maybe best to start an on-line one for now. I'm going begging at the weekend for things to add. Also due to kind donations (they know who they are) I have some money to spent on new things either for the raffel or auction.
