Pics look good thanks Wol. Well the roach does anyway though not too sure about the ugly bugger holding it!

Thanks again Nigel, excellent fish-in as always in lovely surroundingsand nice seeing everyone again to catch up.

Orfe Richard? Where did you find that one? You do know we were supposed to fish the Itchen and not the pond in the mill gardens don't you? /forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Thanks Nige - great day.....and this time I didn't give in! A few nice grayling eventually, salmon or sea trout that jumped out of the net and what would have been easily 2 PB chub if I had scales.....and everyone hadn't deserted back to the bottom pools so I could borrow some (it was like a scene on the Costa Blanca beaches when I got there!).

Where did Sash get the roach? Stunner......is there a pici on the gallery?

Just want toecho all the sentiments above, fantastic day!

Breaking my grayling virginity and meeting some fantastic people all in all the most enjoyable day.

Sitting with Sash at the end for an hour must have had some effect on me as I managed a 40lb bag of chub on the bristol avon yesterday (my first true red letter day!), so thanks for sharing your good vibes sash!

Cant wait for the next one.

Sounds great, very jealous, just sorry I couldn't join you all but insufficient notice to cancel work for the day.... damn damn damn.

Looking forward to the write up and tall tales to come...

Thanks to another top day Nige and it was great to see you all.

I had a few ladies over 1.8 up to 2lbs. A nice chub and a few nice trout.

Highlight of the day was Wol getting caught poaching on the next stretch up lol

Now I know I told everyone about the big, black Alsation running around the top of the stretch but come to think of it itdid look a bit odd......something not quite right about it..........yes, that's it, it had blonde highlights.........? /forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Aha, the plot thickens. Could it have been Wol's latest disguise in fooling the baliff?

Wol doesn't need a disguise to outwit bailiffs.

He uses the Force

Bailiff: "Sorry, you can't fish here, this is reserved for Trout anglers."

Wol: "I am Obi-Wol Kinobi, I am not the angler you seek!"

Bailiff: "You are not the angler I seek, I appologise for bothering you."
