POP Kicking Off National Safe Boating Week!
What a way to kick off 2018 by attending POP's "Pacific Ocean Producers" Marine Expo 2018 in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii! Inside the massive store had sales going on. Outside had local & international vendors showing this year's newest items before it hits the shelves. So what companies were present?

For the kids there was a snow pool of powdered ice. Fishing games. Free hot dogs & bottled water for all. Beautiful breezy trade wind weather all day made this Expo a big hit! Also you had Uncles Fish Market & Grill & Nicos Pier 38 across the driveway for lunch.
The best part of the show for me was meeting Mr Jeff Robles of Okuma Fishing. Jeff explained the NEW releases of the "Hawaiian Custom Rods" coming out this year to meet the demands of Hawaiian anglers! The 2 new Ulua GT 13' casting rods (Heavy & Med Heavy) & the 3 new Menpachi rods at 10'7"/12'/13'! Can't wait to try them out.
A huge "thanks" goes out to the staff of POP "Pacific Ocean Producers" for hosting this popular event. A special thanks goes out to Danford Hong & Sukil Suh for taking time off their busy day to educate me on the Expo.
