night fishing new years eve

Is everyone going to a party or staying in and seeing the new year in with a quiet drink ?

If there are any other sad old gits who fancy a night fishing session that night instead then giz a shout.

I just cant face another year sitting in with the wife and mother in law sipping sherry and I dont know anyone who is having a party, anyway I'd much rather be catching fish.

Alright Trev can't do a nighter but it looks like it could be a freezing anyway,so you could be ice fishing unless you hit a river,frozen solid at our end anyway.
I do know what you mean I personally would rather freeze to death than spend the night with my wife and Mother..
