great 4 hours fishing

I had one of the best mornings fishing I have had for a long time,
it looked as if it should have been a buzzer and daddy longlegs kind of day but no even though there are no fry in the lakes they wanted zonkers pulled just under the surface ,amazing to watch the bow waves of the fish chasing the fly and the takes were savage and i was getting either a take or an adrenalin(sp) pumping follow every cast pity I was only there for a few hours whatv a way to test out a new rod (5#)

This time of the year on the big ressies can be magic. Big rainbows and browns chasing fry.

Muddlers also work well.

We were hoping for fry feeders a couple of weeks ago at Eyebrook but the weather was a bit rough and put the fish off ,but last week I was informed they were fry feeding with a vengance
the sight of that bow wave behind the fly still gets me excited

Had a simular time at Stocks res some years ago. Ended up fishing Fluorescent Pink Dognobblers. Had 19 out and a mate had 11 on same method.
