I have that model I think, and mine was a right/h wind. I remember, when I 1st got it, I stupidly put it on wrong way; later we descovered that. Test if yours is on right. If you reel in, there is a soft click-click sound. But, when a trout puls of line, it'll go a strong, and louder click-click sound. Check is reeling in makes the 1st sound I described. If not, take the reel off the casing. Then, change the cogs, around, untill they fit correctly. Then put the reel back on casing. But seriously, first check.
