With most of the UK in flood and nearing Christmas Paul opts for a highly visible “Christmas Tree" fly. Having a shiny green fritz body and ribs made up of 8 branch shaped olive feathers, dressed in green fritz tinsel and decorated with gold and silver bob-ins at the head. He catches a beautiful rainbow trout on his first cast on "Lodge Lake", Whitesheet in Hampshire.

Another video by Third Person Paul demonstrating APPALLING fish handling practise.
If you are going to put them back (if allowed by fishery rules) then take the fly out with the fish in the net without removing from the water. If you're going to keep it, clop it on the head as soon as you get it out of the water rather then letting the fish thrash around on the bank.
