Hardy Sirrus

For the second time, my Sirrus just snapped in the second section. Am I alone, or does anyone else out there have this problem? They made me pay £45 the last time (almost exactly the same time of the year) but I feel less inclined to do so this time...

You and the rest of the clan using them, or so I am led to believe.

I know one of the major tackle shops in Coventry has stopped sticking Hardy rods because the "cwality" is so poor and rods keep on breaking for no apparent reason.

Having heard of the goos Customer service reputation that Hardys have though, I would have thought that if you call them to explain what has happened, they might well forego the £45 charge that is normally applied.

Do let us know how you get on though as it would be interesting to see.

My angel broke second time out. No apparent reason.

Customer service was good though - repaired no charge

Now they're saying they'll repair it free, but it will take 3-4 weeks. That's 8 weeks without a fishing rod.
