Catfish on the dry fly

I was talking to my mate Bill on the phone last night and bemoaning the lack of venues to use my fly-fishing gear. Then today I stumbled on this video..........

It's surprising that they'd bother with such a small mouthful.

I had some around 20lb out last summer using a small Voblex spinner and also on dead bait. When dead baiting I would pre-bait using small pieces of sand eel or sardines and the catfish could be seen homing in and hunting down the scent from the small pieces of fish, most of which were less than a centimetre in size.
