My mates uses and rates the vision koma reels, so they can't be bad (he's a GAIA instructor by the way).

I like the Greys GTX: £85 bar stock, cheap spools at 5.99 too. Also set them for silent running. I have used them for 3 seasons now and they are great.

Heard a sharkskine line last month - bloody aweful, can imagine what is doing to your rings / snakes!
