Fly Rod Blanks

Does anyone know of a good source of fly rod blanks. I used to do a lot of rod building/refurbishing many years ago (pre-carbon fibre) but these days tackle shops don't seem to stock blanks.

I'm looking for a nice small river/brook rod blank about 7'-8' taking about a 4 or 5 weight line.

Harrisons of Lverpool make rod blanks. I think their web address is something like www.harrisonrods.co.uk (or .com) I have two four piece 8 and 10 weights and I would highly recommend them.

Take a look at USA website http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/

They have huge range of blanks, fly tying gear etc and cheap!!

If you order paper copy of cat it takes about 3 weeks to arrive, downloading it takes about the same time!

Sportfish use Harrison blanks. There's a link to Harrison's on FM's home page.

For a British built blank, you will not beat Harrisons.
