It seems a long time ago now, when we met at Carthagena Fishery fishing for those legendary Big Chub and it certainly cemented our friendships.
I mentioned in my tribute that Simon was sorting out pieces for an Osprey Book, by members and ex members of Osprey.
This is now being carried forward as a tribute to Simon and we have extended the remit, by including friends of Simon and mine.
We have a publisher on board who will produce the book and all the profits will go to Cancer Research UK.
I'm sure it will be an interesting read, as we have pieces from some very well known anglers and some anglers who keep their catches quite.
