MarkG's "The stocking of carp reaches ridiculous new levels" is a deserving winner today, we think. It kind of supersedes the more appropriate 'gay marriage' / 'legal adoption of fish' expectations (indeed, there was one) but, all round, this one was considered the wittiest.
