Free licences for juniors is about the only decent idea the EA and AT have come up with between them.
OK kids taking up the offer has risen, I wonder how many will stick with it when they have to pay. Time will tell.

I am a little confused over this information.

If the licence in fact to juniors free then how is it classified as a "sale"?

Alternatively does this "increase" mean that previously the little monsters were fishing without one, or indeed has there been a huge in crease in the numbers of kids taking up the sport?

I need to lie down, or maybe I just need a beer . . . .

I think this is a bit of PR from the EA where some of the story hasn't been told.

The free licence is imo a sneaky method of obtaining the details of the young anglers getting a free licence in order to use those details to send reminders to them when they become of an age when they have to pay, its got nothing to do with getting kids into fishing or the kids wouldn't have to have one as before this rubbish.

Enjoy your beer Peter :)
