I had to google 'Connemara Clingfish' as I'd never heard of it.

I was just about to do the same with 'Cornish Sucker' when I suddenly had second thoughts...

 :D

I'm just surprised at the BRFC considering a claim for the Guernsey Thin-Lipped Mullet in the shore-caught category - most in this country think Guernsey only does Off-shore! :D:eek:mg:

How do the BRFC know these fish were not grown on and then introduced into the sea to be caught and claim the record  :)

At 3.9 grm Id have had second thoughts about bothering to claim !

At that weight, I'd question its ability to take a sea hook inside its mouth

I realise small hooks are available, but I'd question their use when sea-fishing? Probably wrong, but, how many people fish in the sea with size 26 hooks?

I stand to be corrected, so feel free to do so :)
