I had to google 'Connemara Clingfish' as I'd never heard of it.

I was just about to do the same with 'Cornish Sucker' when I suddenly had second thoughts...

At 3.9 grm Id have had second thoughts about bothering to claim !

I'm just surprised at the BRFC considering a claim for the Guernsey Thin-Lipped Mullet in the shore-caught category - most in this country think Guernsey only does Off-shore! mg:

How do the BRFC know these fish were not grown on and then introduced into the sea to be caught and claim the record

At that weight, I'd question its ability to take a sea hook inside its mouth

I realise small hooks are available, but I'd question their use when sea-fishing? Probably wrong, but, how many people fish in the sea with size 26 hooks?
