We would like to take a minute to thank you all, whether members or guests, for taking the time to visit and hopefully contribute to our forums during 2017.

It is not always easy running such a large and popular forum as ours as there will always be a measure of opinions and thoughts that clash, but we are glad to say that new members continue to apply to join every week of the year (it's harder to tell how many drift away but we'd like more of you to post at least once) and post and thread counts continue to rise. We are already beyond 1 million posts and now heading closer towards the 1 1/4 million post mark on the Fishing Magic Forums - I wonder whose new post that will be that tips the balance?

Thanks go to our moderators who play a very important role, acting as referees, posting new content for you all to read and enjoy, and protecting common decency across the forums. Our continued goal is for these forums to be a place anyone can arrive at and find an inviting and welcoming community they want to join and be a part of. This might not always suit everyone and we understand that but that is our target, and we appreciate all your help in achieving this.

All that remains is to wish you all a very Happy New Year and tight lines for your fishing adventures in 2018 from the Fish and Fly team. We hope you will continue to share your catches with us here. :w
