The river's high! Volunteer bailiff finds cannabis plants dumped in the River Nene

Volunteer bailiff Roy Bridson suspected something fishy was going on when he was alerted by a club partner to black bin bags dumped in the River Nene in Cambridgeshire. He and his fellow bailiff hauled one of the bags to the riverbank – and found it filled with cannabis plants.

[The bad one]

Wow how shocking, they want to come and have a look in our park, we find dumped "Grows" remains on a monthly basis and anything up to 50 bags with 5 to 10 plants in them, minus the top flowering parts. The police never bat an eyelid when you phone them up...…."Oh you've found some plants we'll send an officer and a car round to pick them up when we can!"
