That is a zonking grayling at 4lbs 4oz . . . . and from a Wessex river too . . .

Agree with Peter, what a grayling and two species I have never heard of. Makes our little hobby very interesting and of biological and educational value.

Don't know why but I always thought the Grayling record was higher maybe because 1-2lb fish are so common in certain rivers. Lovely fish though although no prizes for guessing the Wessex river lol
