Hi guys, I'm held up at home at the moment with broken ribs but absolutely itching to get on the bank, and with the opening of the rivers not to far away I'm looking for a good place in the Cotswolds for some river pike, anybody know of anywhere?

There have been posts on here about the negative effect fishing for pike can have in the summer before the old start which was 1 st Oct.

I've got 6 bust ribs, I'm not going anywhere for at least 16 weeks, and even if I was I'd be lure fishing for them anyway,

There has also been many talks about how outdated alot of those theories are.
