I know this has been discussed before but others may have purchased chairs recently.
I want a comfy chair that you can relax in, it needs to be a recliner, I would like it with a high back so your head does not fall backwards over the top. I want to adjust it so that its quite high off the ground. It also needs to be strong and nice as wide as I'm currently a nr 17 st lard arse who is broad in the beam. I've narrowed it down to the following:-
    1) Fox Super Recliner MK11 60-70
    2) JRC Defender Recliner 50
    3) JRC Terry Hearn Coccon 72-80
    4) JRC Specialist Recliner 36-40
    5) Fishrite Recliner

Weight is not a major issue as I will not be lugging it miles it will be lake not river use. Most important is the comfort factor. I have looked at the reviews section but their is not a great deal of feed back. What chairs do you have you owned and what were the pros and cons of each chair. I have asked for cash for my birthday (rather than get naff presents I don't really want or need ) on old Empire Day. I would love it it if we had an Empire Day Public Holiday as I would never have to work on my birthday.
Back to the main topic, all responses would be appreciated. In an ideal world I would go to a tackle shop and test all 5 together, but I don't think there one shop that stocks all five.

    Cheers Nick?
Whatever I decide on I will give it a few sessions and then write a review.

Cocoon is rated to 25 stone whilst the Defender is rated to only 18, u being a fat lard arse i'd opt for the Cocoon. Quite light for a big chair at only 5.4kilo.

I was going to look at the Fox Recliner you mentioned Richard.

Well I thought about and then thought stuff it, nothing wrong with my mouse-eaten old Fox chair, but I thought I'd reply because you were getting depressed.

    Anything to help.

I've got a very comfy, high backed, supa-dupa adjustable Fox one Richard that has stood up to 8 or so years of abuse with barely a whimper. Problam is, I can't remember which model it is. Will bring it along to the do though if you want a tester.

Cheers Sash but I'm going to try out 2 or 3 of the models I mentioned tomorrow when I pick up an auction donation from Avenue Angling.
Had a report of a guy who bought a Fishrite recliner that just fell to bits on him, had to be returned.
Cheers Wol, I'll see you shortly.
Also to thanks to Cheeky Monkey.
