Hi All

Thanks to all for the kind thoughts. Anyway, it looks like I?m on the road to recovery, the specialists now coming to the conclusion that I have a duodenal ulcer and other gastric problems that manifested themselves with severe back pain.

I?ve got some tablets that have worked wonders so far and I?m back to hospital in 4 to 6 weeks for another endoscopy to check if the healing process is going okay. I?m not up to fishing much yet but will be easing back into work from next Monday.

After losing two stone in four weeks I?m also getting my appetite back and working on returning to my decent portly self!

Again, thanks for all the good thoughts and I?m looking forward to getting back on the site next week.

I?ll be getting in touch with all those who have sent me personal messages over the past few weeks.
