Why did it fold?

I have just heard from a reliable source that it was down to economics - the big supermarkets just charge too much for shelf space.

I suppose they would rather sell something with Cheryl Cole on the front or something about Jordon's latest favorite breast enlarging breakfast cereal or all the crappy celebrity gossip b*ll*cks magazines that they line the shelves with.

What!!!! Are you sure??? Have you been sampling some of your good lady's prescription only medicaments???

I have just renewed my subscription, and can't find any reference on the web.

God there is precious little left......AND it's bad news for the trade....less and less opportunities to promote their wares outside of IYCF and TCF

CC has a point. FM is a rich source of info , ok you can't take it to the smallest room , but I heard apple are bringing out a lav top for this purpose and also a sat lav for finding locations of venues...........
Seriously however, I think it's a tragedy when mags and papers fold ........

You a religious man Paul? Lol! Try the Watchtower; lots of sh*t about fishers of men... :j:wh

If this is true, this is a very tragic day for angling journalism/ variety...

Let's hope the late great James Holgates' independent legacy lives on...
