Ron, Lightweight stools! On rivers I take one of those tubular alloy "X" shaped stools with a canvas seat which weighs next to nothing. Its clipped to my haversack and its only ever used if I do a bit of feeder fishing, I always stand up when I float fish.

It came in very useful when talking to Woody on the Throop when talking was much more interesting than the fishing.

We did have that old tree stump as well, Graham.

Now if they could make stools as steady as that and portable ........! )
