Just got back after a quick 2 hour session on the Nidd. Caught a chub first cast on flake with a tiny cage feeder filled with liquidised bread.

Fishing just got impossible after that due to the rings freezing up.

Still - I didn't blank.

We didn't get much of the snow first time round, but we got it now.

The lakes are out of action, and some of the river is nothing but ice.

I keep fingers crossed that the snow goes so we can all have a chance of getting out over Christmas/New Year.

Doesn't look very likely,Ray. Up on the Chilterns we got a right pasting yesterday.I've beenn out on foot today but the side roads are hopeless.Daytime temps on or below freezing all week.

The moment a mild spell appears I'm off !
