Just got back from the charity bash at Yateley in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, organised by Alan Stone.
A big well done to everyone who supported the event, Stoney managed to raise ?10,716.
Everyone appeared to have a really good time and I met and chatted with some nice, friendly people.
With it being really busy and quite noisy, not a lot of note is normally caught, although Tim Paisley caught Match Lake Scaley at 34.8, Tony Meredith caught a cat (by design) at 30.75 and a young chap from Southend caught a 29lb mirror (and never lost his grin for the next 12 hours).
All in all a resounding success for Stoney, Macmillan and the image of angling in general.
Well done everybody who took part.
