Has anybody fished the Shropshire Union Canal around the Wheaton Aston area. Preferably fairly recently? I'm just curious to know what to expect species wise. I've been told the usual roach, chub and bream but what about predators? Are there any tench? Is there any truth in the tales of barbel from some stretches or are they very localised?
