I live but 2 miles from Drayton Res., and the word is rife among local anglers that the water is being "plundered" by European immigrants who some how regard the carp as a delicacy.This may be correct but I cannot substantiate the facts, but there is no smoke without fire.I remember Rudd knocking 3lbs being sold off the slab in Northampton to the local Chinese laundry workers in the mid 1950's .
These fish had been caught by trout anglers from Ravensthorpe and Hollowell Reservoirs.

why dont immigrants take cormorants for the table??? they couldnt give a toss for the legality of taking/poaching fish so why the hell should they care about the black death!!!!

because they are also lazy and cormorants need hard work to catch
