Jones' tackle in Chester! A tiny tiny tackle shop slap bang in the middle of a terraced street, run by Ian and his wife. Ian always supports our school trips (a school which serves one of the biggest council estates in Europe) he never gives the kids a 'bum deal' and regularly stays open after hours so people like me can pick their (first class/top value) bait up after work!

To be fair thelikes of WMAC (whom are excellent as mail order specialists) should not really be classed alongside the likes of the smaller shops mentioned above why not have 2 awardsnext time? 1 for national service, and 1 for local service?

Being predator and game orientated in South London means having local tackle shops that are match and carp orientated and the only flies they have are hovering over the maggots. I therefore buy almost everything mail order, via the phone or net. I would like to recommend www.summerlands.co.uk in Devon as the cheapest source of Berkeley braid I have ever found anywhere including the US, the best range of ABU reels and mostly 'in stock' and for the friendliest, quickest and most helpful service I've ever had. (ask for Nick or Louise)
