The other day I broke the tip on one of my favourite float fishing rods, a Drennan DRX 14 footer.
I was distraught. I learned that they don't make this rod anymore, yet I was advised to contact Drennan.
Now as many of you will know, Drennan don't have a website and getting their telephone number is a major problem as many of the tackle shops won't give it out. But I found it and contacted them. I told them of my plight and by return, a new tip for my rod turned up today.
Thank you Drennan, but I would add, for goodness sake come into the 21st century.
Organise a proper website!
And Peter, if you are listening, I knew you when you were hardly out of short pants.
