There have been several threads recently which have been seeking information on various rivers.It seemed that a thread on river reports would be a good idea.These would obviously have to be provided by you good people out there and could encompass stillwaters as well.
I feel it would be beneficial to keep to a brief simple format something like a fishing diary.

Fished quite a few swims wandering downstream no bites at all, settled into swim near car park at dusk ,one chub to legered flake from far bank @4.45

Results .................. 3 x chub to 4.08

Fished just the one deep glide next to very shallow shelf then got a call and had to go into work (.
Only bites came when I left the float to go thru at the speed of the current.

Used 5kg of ground bait + 2 tins of sweetcorn. Plenty of line bites lost one big bream

Brief description of the session.
Fished a swim that I saw last week and quite fancied, legered flake with occasional feeder of mashed bread.No sign of any fish activity at all.Should have gone to Throop!

Brief description of the session.Trotted mostly one swim ,caught both fish from the main swim after resting it and fishing elsewhere for a while.Saw two chub caught from opp. bank , but fishing quite slow.

Used 5kg of ground bait + 2 tins of sweetcorn. Kept bream in swim all night, 12 balls to begin with then 6 balls every hour, nothing on the method even when I switched from pellet to hair rigged sweet-corn. Best nights fishing this year.
