It's hard to pick two sizes of hook when we only get one choice of bait. For the size 6 hooks i was thinking either bread or luncheon meat.

if this works how come i've got nigh on 40 rods and i don't know how many reels?

JW avon quiver.

shimano 5000 baitrunner

6lb mainline

drennan superspecialists in size 6 and 12.

baits worms and sweetcorn.

landing net the one john wilson used in the early go fishing series. i've had one since then and you can get most things in it.

i could get away with this for roach, bream, barbel, chub, tench, crucians, perch, carp to low 20's, and rudd. on both still waters and rivers using just the quiver top and ledgering.

Captain,

Now you have done it, i was going to post my selection of tackle on here tomorrow.

At the end of the post i was going to say, why have you all got so much tackle, when all you need is what you have picked.

I would pick

1lb 8oz free spirit 13 foot rod.

Shimano 4ooo reel

6lb mainline

hooks size 8 and 10

bait worms and maggots

30 inch landing net

Simple - a Dave Lumb Duellist 9 footer, a Shimano Curado baitcaster filled with 60lb braid, a selection of 2 to 3 oz spinnerbaits and a salmon gye net with peel sling.

Ron,

You can not have a selection of spinner baits only two.

Everyone else can only have two baits so i have to be seen to be fair, thank you.
