From Junction 26 on the M4, take the A4042 north towards Cwmbran and turn left at the first roundabout onto the A 4051. Go left at the first roundabout then immediately right and first left to the canal.

Unless i hear different, going to Goytre, get permit £2.00 then take it from there. Heard top end is good just down from Brecon, its just further to go!

i grew up in goytre the warf is full of big carp all around the boats problem is you cant fish there but they will be able to tell you where to fish

I seen them, you can fish just outside the wharf, just wondering what its like

Any luck on the canal? Where did you end up fishing? If it's any good, it'll give my hubby something to do when I visit my folks.

Moved after two biteless hours upto Brecon, park in Brecon 50p for 6 hours!!!.Walk two bridges down canal (3-5mins) and fish, great dace, roach to 1lb 5 ozs.
