Rod or Pole colour

Taking it too the other extreme would a see through top section help , and prevent fish spooking , do they spook off the shadow of a pole ?
Might be hard to find though if you put it down on the grass.

In a few years time this will be possible with the current and constant development of materials , probably something that will be driven by military materials science anyway.

Quiet a few top quality poles come in a silver grey colour,
mainly to keep it cool ,

a black pole in strong sunlight gets very hot
