Has anyone heard on the grape vine about Fox's new line with an oval cross section?

What advantage would an oval cross section offer? (maybe its actually elliptical???)

Could it be to stop twist or improve distance?

Sounds a little gimmicky to me.

Although perhaps an oval X section would lend itself to better line lay and then better distance casting> Who knows?

If it ever gets to production I can just see the full page adverts declaring a revolutionary product that will put more fish on the bank, blah, blah....
